About Me

Before pursuing a career in massage therapy, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Youth Development and Leadership from Springfield College.  For four years I ran leadership workshops, college access programs, and workforce preparation coaching for teens...

 Welcome!

imageMy Philosophy on Massage Therapy:

I view massage as lifelong solution for self-care, as well as an amazing method of deeply connecting spirit, mind, and body. Massage therapy is a tool to gently guide us out of our tightly scheduled lives into a calm environment of healing, pain relief, and stress reduction.

By warming, kneading, and stretching the muscles and fascia, there is opportunity for muscle freedom, better movement, and joint mobility. In addition, the nerves and blood vessels restricted by a tight, tense body now have the space to properly function.

Bodywork is so much more than just muscle work. It has systemic effects that influence other body systems, including the immune system and cardiovascular system.  This is why I believe in a slow, soft, and specific approach to bodywork, allowing her to safely work the sensitive deep tissue structures with intention and care.

I am passionate about continuing my education in health, wellness, and massage in order to provide the best possible care for each person who walks through my door.

Specialties:

I specialize in providing a well-rounded custom session designed to optimize the overall wellness of her clients. Sessions are guided by the needs of the client which may include general relaxation, stress management, pain relief, and/or stretching. My training and knowledge enable me to work with a diverse spectrum of clients, and many of my regular clients return specifically for the thorough work on the muscles attached to the spine, neck, hips, and gluts.
